Absolutely! Our existing patients can reorder their prescribed contact lenses directly through our patient portal or website.

What age should my child have their first eye exam?

We recommend children have their first eye exam between 3-5 years old, or sooner if there is something clearly amiss.

How often should adults have an eye exam?

Adults should have an eye exam at least every 1-2 years or more frequently if recommended by your eye care professional. Contact lens wearers need an annual contact lens exam to renew their prescription.

Do you offer LASIK surgery?

While we don't perform LASIK surgery in-house, we offer consultations and referrals to reputable specialists.

How do I know if I need glasses?

Common signs include squinting, headaches, and difficulty seeing clearly at certain distances. An eye exam can provide a definitive answer.

Do you provide emergency eye care services?

Yes, for urgent eye care needs, please contact our office immediately for instructions.

What is considered an eye emergency?

Eye emergencies can include severe eye pain, sudden vision loss, chemical exposure, foreign objects in the eye, cuts or punctures to the eye, and blunt trauma to the eye or surrounding area. They can also include eye infections, styes, redness and swelling.

What should I do if I get a foreign object in my eye that I can't remove?

Avoid rubbing your eye, and do not attempt to remove the object yourself if it's embedded. Rinse your eye gently with water if possible and contact us or seek emergency medical attention immediately.

Is sudden blurred vision an emergency?

Sudden blurred vision can be a sign of a serious condition and should be treated as an emergency.

Can sleeping in contact lenses cause an emergency?

Sleeping in contacts not designed for overnight wear can increase the risk of infection. Remove them and monitor for pain, redness, or discharge. Contact us if symptoms appear.

What actions should I take if I suspect a concussion from a blow to the eye or head?

Concussions require immediate medical evaluation. If a blow to the eye or head occurs, seek emergency medical care immediately.
