Dr. Jeffrey Harris
Dr. Harris is known for his patient-centric approach, blending cutting-edge technology with personalized care to ensure each patient's experience is as clear and comfortable as their vision. Dr. Harris specializes in contact lenses, is passionate about sports vision, and loves creating a personalized and enjoyable experience for all his patients.
With a degree in Biology from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a doctorate in Optometry from the Interamerican University of Puerto Rico, Dr. Harris brings a wealth of knowledge and experience. His esteemed tenure as the optometrist for major sports teams, including the Los Angeles Angels and Anaheim Ducks, showcases his expertise in sports vision and eye care excellence.
After spending 4 years in Puerto Rico, where he met his wife, Irene and gained fluency in Spanish, Dr. Harris moved back to Southern California. Over the next 8 years he spent time practicing alongside his dad in Newport Beach, purchasing a small private practice in San Diego, and later working in an Ophthalmology practice where he served as the optometrist for the Los Angeles Angels and the Anaheim Ducks (You might get him to show you a photo of himself drinking from the Stanley Cup). In 2009, he returned to his Oregonian roots to purchase Beaverton Vision World. In 2011, Dr. Harris and his wife opened Vision World in Tigard. Outside of the office you might find him fishing, surfing, traveling, or spending time with his wife, Irene, his family, and friends.
